This will be a convenient option for those who want to enjoy a drink or two without having to go out and buy them themselves.
People love the convenience of Grubhub. Delivery times vary depending on the retailer, but you can generally expect your alcohol to arrive within 30 - 60 minutes.
Due to local laws, Grubhub only delivers wine, liquor, and beer in the following states:

Alcohol can also be legally delivered between the hours of 6 a.m. and 2 a.m. Monday through Sunday.
In California alcohol can legally be delivered from 6 – 2 a.m. from Sunday to Saturday.
The alcohol delivery service on the Grubhub platform is limited by a few regulations.
When customers order alcohol online on the Grubhub platform, the alcohol is always packaged separately. This way, if you order food with alcohol and choose the contactless delivery option, your Grubhub driver can leave the food at the customer's door. However, the driver cannot leave the alcohol at your door . Indeed, alcohol cannot be left unattended.
When your driver arrives, you have to show your government-issued ID that shows that you’re of legal drinking age (21 years old).
Without it, the driver can't hand off the alcohol and you may be charged a restock fee.

On the Grubhub platform, alcohol sales are transferred to your account via Stripe.
It’s important to note that though the new system is faster, the transaction timeline has not changed. Grubhub still debits your Grubhub account within three (3) business days after you complete the sale. Grubhub will continue to charge you a Grubhub service fee on alcohol sales.
After you've created a Stripe account, you need to connect Stripe to Grubhub.
Unfortunately, alcohol deliveries can be more complicated than typical food deliveries and increase your liability. Indeed, if you do not follow all the instructions for alcohol delivery on the driver app, your account may be permanently deactivated.

Keep in mind that If an order contains alcohol, you will see it when you receive the delivery request. If you get an order but you do not want to complete it, you can ignore the offer.
Checking IDs is a part of your job.
If a customer refuses to provide you with a valid ID, you cannot complete the delivery.
Be sure to follow all age-restriction and ID requirements as per your local laws.

There is a sobriety requirement. If you encounter a customer that is visibly intoxicated, politely inform him or her that Grubhub does not deliver alcohol to minors or intoxicated individuals.
As a delivery driver you have to look over to check for glassy eyes, bloodshot eyes, a smell of alcohol, slurred speech, and/or impaired motor functions due to intoxication.
In case the customer is too drunk to understand you, contact 911 right away.
You must return the alcohol to the restaurants. You will receive a $7 dollars compensation for your efforts.
